What goes around

For those that forget the 'Golden rule's" plot,
a quick reminder as I sit down and jot...
Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you,
is the message of the Golden rule.
If you hurt others in your quest to succeed,
it's guaranteed you won't get what you need.
If you live with lies on the tip of your tongue,
chances are you'll fail,  and will never have won.
If you cheat to attain some unreasonable goal,
grab a shovel, for you will dig your own hole.
If you use others and cruelly throw them away,
guess where you will find yourself one day?
Or in  a phrase much more often heard about town,
this one  you should know, what goes around, comes around.
